Academic writing has taught me a lot. I have learnt that there are certain formats that I have to follow in order to write a good essay. Flow is extremely important in an essay. I have finally found the best essay structure for me as well. I have learnt on how to cite properly, both in-text and end-text citations. Additionally, writing isn't all about bombastic words. It's about delivering your message clearly in a written form. Miss Farah said, what's the point of writing with bombastic words if people don't understand your message?

Massive thanks to Miss Farah for teaching me all the above techniques in academic writing. She does not only teach us academic writing, but she teaches us about how to be a good human being general, as well as how to think critically. Miss Farah has to be the most dedicated lecturer I have ever encountered. She provides step-by-step techniques on how to write a good essay. She often repeats to make sure that students remember. Let's not forget the times when she sacrificed her sleep just to teach us! We had a few extra classes before midterm at night, and recently, we had a consultation session for OBE at night. She conducted the consultation session until past midnight.
