This subject has definitely taught me how to read in the most efficient way. I have learnt on how to find the topic of a text, the main ideas, the supporting details and the implied main ideas. Besides that, I learnt prefixes which deepen my understanding about the English language. I also learnt contextual clues, reference and signal words that I can apply when I read or watch a show for a better understanding about the materials I am looking at.

Class with Sir Afiq is always fun and entertaining. Once a week, we have a sharing session where two students individually have to share about an article or a book that they have read. We then have a little discussion once they have done with their respective sharing sessions. It's intriguing when we can share our ideas and opinions about a certain topic.

I have so much fun doing reading assignments that Sir Afiq gives. I really wish that Sir Afiq will be teaching us again in Semester 2!
